MEET DR. DILL
Dr. Lauren Dill (she/her) is a licensed clinical psychologist (CA PSY 25166) with a PhD in Clinical Psychology from the APA-accredited Fuller Graduate School of Psychology. She completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Geropsychology at the VA Palo Alto Health Care System and has been practicing in California since 2012. With nearly 20 years of experience in inpatient and outpatient medical settings, Dr. Dill brings depth, compassion, and clinical precision to her work with adults from diverse backgrounds and life stages.
Her specialties include trauma, aging-related concerns, grief and loss, the mind-body connection, and the psychological effects of chronic and complex medical conditions. She has extensive experience supporting veterans and first responders and is dedicated to helping clients navigate life transitions, emotional pain, and long-term stress with sensitivity and insight.
Dr. Dill integrates evidence-based therapies—including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), mindfulness, clinical hypnosis, somatic techniques, and depth-oriented approaches—within a holistic and client-centered framework. She also offers in-home ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP), creating a safe and sacred space for healing, insight, and integration.
Her practice, Kenshō Psychology, is named after the Zen term kenshō, meaning “a glimpse into one’s true nature.” She views therapy as a sacred partnership—one that helps clients move beyond symptom relief into a deeper, more meaningful relationship with themselves and their lives. Whether through traditional therapy or ketamine-assisted work, the ultimate aim is to support clients in reconnecting with their true essence—the part of themselves that is whole, wise, and inherently resilient.
Dr. Dill’s personal and professional interests include integrative and Ayurvedic medicine, healthy aging, psychedelic-assisted therapy, and contemplative spirituality. She has received seminary training and draws from years of study in traditions such as Buddhism, Taoism, Hinduism, Christianity, and Shamanism. She enjoys traveling and regularly attends meditation, yoga, training, and wellness retreats around the country. Dr. Dill honors all spiritual paths, identities, and cultural backgrounds, holding space with deep respect for the unique truths each client brings.
